The Daily Grind

  • Not many colonies of the pool grew, so redoing seed endophyte 16S PCR and redoing cloning
  • At the same time, genotyping overnights of endophytes (orphan's) and doing PCR check of ACC deaminase and alSD plasmids
  • Pouring media for potatoes and cutting them up. Also photographing and weighing endophyte dipped isolates
  • Autoclaving and preparing alternate carbon source media for G. azotocaptans trial. Sucrose (15 g·L–1)

was replaced by maltose, glucose, fructose, glycerol, gluconate (in the form of gluconic acid), ethanol, or mannitol at the final concentration of 10 g·L–1
