The Daily Grind

  • To do: Submit sequencing
  • To do: Make treatments for replica plates and incubate them overnight.
  • To do: Water greenhouse plants with bacteria
  • To do: Finish gel extraction, perform ligation, and this afternoon, transform bacteria.
  • To do: Plan / execute arabinose response curve with GFP for endophytes (use acinetobacter protocol) [Doing duplicate plates of LB with 0, 50, 200 and 500 ug/mL of Arabinose alongside potato and corn root and shoot extracts. For these, 100 mg of fresh tissue was ground and resuspended in 2 ml of water, before being filter sterilized and 1 mL incorporated into 50 mL of the LB agar. 100 ul drops of OD=0.1 suspentions of the Arabad::GFP endophytes will be spotted onto plates to assay GFP after 16 hours growth)
