Remains of the Day

  • Testing PCR products from yesterday (Brazil and taq tests) - not sure about annealing temperature; 52 degrees maybe?
  • Maybe doing further taq testing later today
  • Reasses PR1 induction test - there has to be an induced gene with introns to reduce noise from contaminating DNA.
  • Study fungal complexes and how to study them

The below gel was done on RNA that was treated with DNAse for 30 minutes before cDNA production, followed by 20 minutes of RNAse treatment (after cDNA was made) 400pix
