Remains of the Day

  • Recieved a strawberry plant from a diseased part of a field. May or may not have a disease. Greg asks to test with TRFLP, so took three root subsamples, washed off the rhizosphere soil (collected for DNA extraction) and took the three washed root samples for DNA extraction. All six samples labelled as "Dis. Straw" 1-3, root or rhizo. Bacterial (63F-1389R-HhaI)and fungal TRFLP (ITS1F-ITS4-BstNI) being done by Jon and I.
