Take photos, weigh and keep tomato roots in 50 mL Falcon tubes for later use (didn't get chance to do so today)
Meet with Kristen at 13:30 and work on tomato report
Sampled Tilbury grafted washed roots that Steve Loewen sent. These included 8201 (RST), 8207 (H2401), and 8208 (Beaufort). There were 5 root samples per plot, and 5 plots per genotype. For DNA, the 5 washed/frozen plant roots were sampled by cutting with scissors as was done for all growth room samples, and a pool of these cuttings was loaded into a tube for extraction.
