Remains of the Day

  • Going with Greg to field to look at strawberry plants - not sure what we're expecting to do (he got excited about me doing a wheat germination test with the TBG product)
  • Lucas is going to do a gel extraction of the nested PCRs
  • I'm gonna do colony PCR of 13 white colonies per fungal TRFLP from yesterday
  • Mark Mazzola got back to me and they are sending more strawberries for chemical analysis and optional oomycete analysis - got to get to work on those
  • Order new degenerate 27F 6FAM for testing TRFLP on strawberries. Also order Bacillus, Burkholderia, and Pseudomonas specific primers for real time PCR.
