* Since there's been a surprise deadline regarding the California strawberries for next week, I'm gonna scramble to do the Oomycete nested PCRs (no time to get the TRFLPs done). So will pool the sick vs unhealthy roots we extracted, amplify with OomF and OomR, then query this with the nested primers for P. irregulare, P. ultimum, P. fragariae, and P. infestans.

So will pool the sick vs unhealthy roots we extracted, include the rest of the treated soil samples (called TCR), redo the weakest PSI samples, and amplify with OomF and OomR, then query this with the nested primers for P. irregulare, P. ultimum, P. fragariae, and P. infestans.
* I took 10 ul each of the below PCR products, cut with DdeI for a couple hours, then diluted with 90 ul of water and sent to Guelph for fragment analysis.

Remains of the Day

  • Since there's been a surprise deadline regarding the California strawberries for next week, I'm gonna scramble to do the Oomycete nested PCRs (no time to get the TRFLPs done). So will pool the sick vs unhealthy roots we extracted, include the rest of the treated soil samples (called TCR), redo the weakest PSI samples, and amplify with OomF and OomR, then query this with the nested primers for P. irregulare, P. ultimum, P. fragariae, and P. infestans.
  • I took 10 ul each of the below PCR products, cut with DdeI for a couple hours, then diluted with 90 ul of water and sent to Guelph for fragment analysis.
