Objective

  • to prepare and run RuATP column.

Description

  • 1.5L of 2:4:4:3 isopropanol:dioxane:water:25% ammonium hydride solution was made.
  • a silica gel column was made to purify the RuATP. The isopropanol:dioxane:water:25% ammonium hydride was used as the solvent instead of acetonitrile. No variations in the solvent were used.
  • purified Ru was dissolved in about 10mL of DMF before added to the ATP reaction.
