I work in the Wilmer Eye Institute at the JHU School of Medicine. I learned about OpenWetWare from the 24C3 Endy lecture, and I've joined because I am interested in contributing to the BBF Technical Standards.

Research Interests

  1. Basic Synthetic Biology
    1. Epigenetics - Manipulating chromatin structures as a form of wetware programming in eukaryotic systems
    2. Biocircuits - Designing devices and chassis for cellular computation and communications
    3. Virology - Engineering viruses and pseudoviruses to deliver biological parts to cellular systems
