Objective

  • Took pictures of beads with microscope to get bead size for 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40%.
  • Ran ICP on AC


Data

  • Data analysis:
  • (Measured 20ppm Standard Concentration - Concentration of Sample)(20/Measured 20ppm Standard Concentration)
  • (17.84- Sample)(20/17.84)
  • Multiplied new values by 0.005 to get mass (mg) of metals in solution
  • 5ppm = 5mg/L
  • 5mg/L*1L/1000mL= 0.005mg/mL
  • Mass of Metals in Solution:
  • 85mL/1000mL*60mg/L = 5.1 mg Metals Total
  • 85mL/1000mL*20mg/L = 1.7 mg of each Metal
