Objective

  • Acid Exchange for yellow beads
  • Wet Sieving for 10% Beads
  • Vacuum Filtrate 40% Beads
  • Wet Sieving

Description

  • Vacuum filtrated 25% beads with acetone. (Beads still stuck together though less than with water)
  • Run size analysis on 25% beads wet to figure out which filters to use
  • Will attempt to vacuum filter by size
  • Yellow Beads in acid at equilibrium pH:
  • 10%: 0.915
  • 25%: 0.901
  • 40%: 0.936
  • Mass of vacuum filtered beads +125mL containers:
  • 10%: 32.544g
  • 25%: 32.247g
  • 40%: 33.271g
