Objective

To make one solution of AuNP/BSA and a solution of protein fibers.

Description

  1. Combine 2 mL of 3.66 mM HAuCl4 and 6.04 mL of 0.0173 mM BSA in a test tube.
  2. Dilute to 20 mL with water.
  3. Place in oven at 74°C.
  4. Leave solutions in oven for 3.5 hr.

Data

  • UV vis data for AuNP + 50 mM Tris (pH 10.1) solution (made on 02/01/12 could not be taken, as the AuNP precipitated out of solution.
