ObjectiveTo synthesize gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) from bovine serum albumen (BSA) and HAuCl4 DescriptionThis experiment uses the same procedure that was used on August 31, 2011. Changes to the Experiment Two reactions were run in this experiment. One reaction took place in the same buffer solution used on August 31. The other reaction took place in water. The final concentration of the solution was 0.25 mM of HAuCl4 and 1.5 uM of BSA in 10 mL of H2O or buffer. To make these solutions, 1 mL of 25 mM chloroauric acid and 1 mL of 15 uM BSA in H2O were placed in each reaction.
