- 1.) 1,4,5,8 Naphthalenetetracarboxylic dianhydride (.805g, 3.00 mmol)
- 2.) 4- aminopyridine (.847 g, 6.00 mmol)
- 3.) Diethyl ether (600 mL
- 4.) Dimethylacetamide (DMA) (150 mL)
- Dissolve 1&2 in DMA stirred at 135 degrees C overnight.
- Cooled to room temperature and poured onto diethyl ether (600 mL).
- Precipitate filter and washed with diethyl ether
- dried under vacuum to yield
