I worked in the Ion Cyclotron Resonance department at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. I worked on a project that aimed to find the cause of deposition of a certain crude oil and its peculiar blue color. We analyzed its composition using high-resolution mass spectrometry. I examined the resulting data and developed a new way to graphically display the data in 3-D animated plots.

I worked in the Essignmann Lab in the Biological Engineering Deparment on a project that aimed to develop a non-invasive method of tracking and managing inflammation. We used single walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) wrapped with DNA to detect nitric oxide (NO) in vivo by exploiting that fact that SWNTs fluoresce, and the fluorescence is quenched in the presence of NO.

I am currently working in the White Lab in the Koch Center. The project I am working on aims to determine how ERK activity affects histone modifications (more specifically H3K4me3) and in turn changes in RNA production.

===Please briefly describe any previous technical communication experience you have===
**Written Communication
I have made posters on several occasions for summer programs and also for the American Chemical Society's conference in Spring 2010. Further more I wore a research paper on the work that I did at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory.
**Oral Communication
I have make poster presentations on several occasions for summer programs and also for the American Chemical Society's conference in Spring 2010.
