My academic interests are divided between biological/chemical engineering and musical composition.  Specifically, I'd like to produce sophisticated chemicals via microbial engineering.  Simultaneously, I would be composing music for films.  There's a chance that I could introduce my two loves to each other and simply persuade bacteria to make novel drugs by serenading cell cultures with original, improvised folk tunes.
