---|
I'm a PhD candidate in Dr. Stephen Fong's Systems Biological Engineering Laboratory at VCU in Richmond, VA. My graduate work has been focused on developing genetic parts to control transcription. I am also actively developing synthetic biology educational material. Please feel free to email me. My research interests include:
- Orthogonal gene expression
- Artificial gene networks
- Synthetic metagenomics
- Genome organization, refactoring & design
- Metabolic, organellar & enzyme engineering
- Genome-scale, single-cell characterization
Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. – Einstein
