George McArthur IV
George McArthur is the founder of the Virginia Genetically Engineered Machine (VGEM) Team, an undergraduate synthetic biology research group at the University of Virginia.
Research Interests
I use a synthetic biology approach to the metabolic engineering of marine microorganisms for the production of specialty chemicals, biofuels and biopharmaceuticals.
