Entry title

  • We began actual lab work today. I had the opportunity to practice pipette use, sterile technique, and restriction digests. I was introduced to the various freezers and refrigerators that are part and parcel of biological laboratory work, shown how to clean equipment using the ever-essential ethanol, and introduced to the notion of an online wiki for laboratory management (with mixed success).
