I am a doctorate student with a research interest in cellular iron and lipid metabolism as a function of age under the mentor of Barry Halliwell and Markus Wenk at the National University of Singapore. At the same time, I am also a research scholar at the Bruce Ames Laboratory working with David Killilea to further understand why cellular iron accumulates during senescence (aging) in vitro.
