I work in the Microbial Genetics lab at the National School of Biological Sciences [3] at the National Polytechnic Institute or IPN. I learned about OpenWetWare from a colleague and collaborator friend of mine that uses this service. I joined because I would like to share my techniques and at the same time take advice from the scientific community worldwide. I would also like to have a permanent place to store my protocols and techniques, one that my students and collaborators can use wherever they are.
