Mathematica codeToday I was working if the Dahl model of hysteresis and I wrote a simple programa in Mathematica (it is here: Media:hysteresis.nb), which implements the Dahl model (I am trying to approach the behavior of this model to the observed behavior of the AKT signaling pathway). The behavior of the model is shown in the following figure:
Presentation by Thomas GrossI assisted to the presentation by Thomas Gross -from the Phillips University in Marburg, Germany; he is a new postdoctoral student at Silver Lab-. It was an interesting talk, and what I found very interesting was the elucidation of protein complexes via different kind of techniques. Essentially he used antobidy-antigen techniques to inmunoprecipitate specific proteins in a given complex. I was surprised by the fact that in eukaryotic cells some proteins goes and comes through the cell wall. |
