I am an Assistant Professor at UC Riverside in Plant Pathology & Microbiology.

I was a postdoc at UC Berkeley in the laboratory of John Taylor and funded through the Miller Institute at Berkeley and prior to that I was a graduate student at Duke University, Program in Genetics and Genomics.

I am interested in comparative genomics of fungi to understand evolutionary processes generating population and species level variation. My pages at BioPerl, Berkeley, and former page at Duke, provide more information about specific research questions I am pursuing.

I also blog about fungal genome analyses and datasets and provide a wiki for genome information and our research.
