Please briefly describe any previous laboratory experience
January 2013 - Present: Freedman Lab at Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center. Studying role of immunological signaling in cftr -/- cholangiocytes to understand CFTR's role in Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis
June - August 2012: Abreu Lab at University of Miami Hospital. Studied role of toll-like receptor 4 signaling in intestinal epithelial cells to investigate effects on inflammation. Studied high fat diet in the presence of colitis in an Ulcerative Colitis mouse model.
December - May 2012: Vacanti Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital. Engineered a biomimetic liver scaffold and ran in vitro tests.
