I work under Dr. Stephen Fong in the [http://openwetware.org/index.php?title=Fong Systems Biological Engineering Lab] at Virginia Commonwealth University. I am currently participating in the second summer of VCU's [http://www.vcu.edu/csbc/bbsi/ Bioinformatics and Bioengineering Summer Institute ] (BBSI). My primary research interest at VCU is the development of an ''in silico'' flux-balance model of ''T fusca's'' metabolism. Using this model, we will be able to predict the relative efficiencies of single and double gene eliminations corresponding to product secretion coupled to biomass (cellular growth/replication).
