July 9th, 2010

1. Measure OD at 540 nm of the four strains that were grown on June 8th. From this OD’s make dilutions to get a final OD of 0.1


2. Plate the dilutions on the ELISA plate to measure fluoresence.

  • We did one measure before irradiation with Blue light, irradiation was performed at different time ranges as illustrated on the figure.

  • Besides fluorescence, we measured absorbance to monitor cell growth.
  • Excitation was set at 485/40 nm and emission at 500/20 nm.
