* In regards to microsphere preparations, in order to vortex the new microsphere samples being prepared more efficiently, a more advanced, efficient, and high speed vortexer will be used instead of a sonicator for vortexing samples.

OBJECTIVES

  • Begin X-ray analysis of microsphere samples
  • Begin to run DSC sample analysis on hydrogel samples previously prepared on 2/04/13
  • Continue making films containing both clay and PVOH variations to run X-ray analysis
  • Add H2O to hydrogel samples containing Rhodamine 6G dye in order to run DSC and X-ray analysis (leach out dye before analyses)

Notes
