  • Plasmid transformations


Plasmid Transformations

  1. CMV/V0120 - BioBrick CMV, Benchling part: CMV
  2. MV9 vector - BioBrick BBa_J176171, Benchling part: MV9
  3. water negative control

  • Add 50 μL DH5α-turbo cells (thawed on ice)
  • Incubate on ice for 5 min.
  • Plate on 100 μg/mL amp LB agar
  • Took plates out of 37°C after ~4 hours and placed on bench at room temp to prevent over-growing

2/13/14

  • Plates looked great. Put back into 37°C incubator for two more hours.
