Entry one

  • Due to VERY soft agar, I was not able to preform the transformation on the 4th. However, today at 9:30 I created a plate for tommorow. It seems as my metal inoculating loop is too "sharp" for the agar plates I had quickly created. Agar plates have always been one of my weakest points. So, I use some plastic inoculating loops I got in my first transformation kit instead.
  • The halobacterium have grow more. Now they look like a cluster of salt crystals. I wonder if the salt concentrations will effect their transformations.
