Have you taken or are you taking...

7.05/5.07 (Biochemistry): Fall 2008
7.06 (Cell Biology): not yet
7.02 (General Biology Lab): never!
5.310 (General Chemistry Lab): I took 5.35 (which is ~equivalent) Fall 2008

Do you have any experience culturing cells (mammalian, yeast or microbial)?
I have significant experience with microbial cells, and a little bit with human cells.

Do you have any experience in molecular biology (electrophoresis, PCR, etc)?
Some. Electrophoresis, ELISAs, flow cytometry... uh, maybe more, who knows. But not that much.

Please briefly describe any previous laboratory experience

I took 5.35, and one module of the course 5 organic chemistry laboratory. Which was basically just running a bunch of columns.
I ran a bunch of ELISAs in a human cancer cell research lab two summers ago.
I spent this past summer working with Acinetobacter investigating their resistance to antiseptics. I did a lot of cell growth assays, and some flow cytometry. Also some DNA/RNA purification.

Anything else you would like us to know?
