I work in the [[Your Lab]] at XYZ University.  I learned about [[OpenWetWare]] from Agi Stachowiak, another 20.109 instructor, and I've joined because I would like to join OWW because I am a writing instructor for the 20.109 class at MIT, and would like to make a profile page on the class website..

Prior to coming to MIT's WAC program in 2005, I was a scientific editor who commissioned and edited biology college-level text and articles for the web, and more recently Executive Director of the [http://www.cdpcenter.org/ Cell Decision Process Center], an [http://www.systemscenters.org/ NIH Center of Excellence in Systems Biology]. I currently teach primarily in the Biology department; my scholarly research focuses on how students develop scientific communication skills through discussion leading.
