Objective

Make more AuNP Fiber samples

Protocol

We made new AuNP fiber samples in glass test tubes with the following reagents:

We added the following to each test tube:

  • 917.19µL of lysozyme
  • 1312.94µL of chloroauric acid (gold)
  • 7769.86µL of DI water

We also measured the mass of each of 10 test tubes, which we labeled (before measuring the mass) according to the table below:

We are planning to measure the mass of the fibers formed in these samples, which is why we measured the mass of the test tubes.
