MHA Day Two Procedure

  • Following samples of silica-coated nanoparticles made:
    • 5uL TES, MHA
    • 10uL TES, MHA
    • 15uL TES, MHA
    • 20uL TES, MHA
  • TEM measurements to be taken at NIST on Thursday 07/18/2013

Sample Prep: AuNP@SiO2 Dilutions

All dilutions made in PBS.<br.>

  • Silica-coated AuNPs from 06/20/2013
    • 5uL TES, MHA
      • Original
      • 10x diluted
      • 100x diluted
      • 1000x diluted
  • Silica-coated AuNPs from today
    • 5uL TES, MHA; 10uL TES, MHA; 15uL TES, MHA; 20uL TES, MHA
      • Original
      • 10x diluted
      • 100x diluted
      • 1000x diluted
  • 10nm AuNPs
    • Concentrations determined by [theoretical] resulting AuNP concentration in solution of silica-coating procedure
    • 1nM
    • 0.5nM

Absorbance measurements of all samples to be taken tomorrow.<br.>
