migration assay

Looked at with Sharon:

  • Matrigel not enough rigid to keep everything in place after 2dic, so there is some displacement/damage of various degree - embedding needs improvement.
  • Migrating cells visible hre and there, mostly in relation with small chunks of GE tissue - needs improvement.

nestin on e16-BrdU reelers

Looked at with Sharon:

  • Proposed way to assess radiality: measure total length of fibers (possibly in relation to the cortical width).

But first we have to find a way to ID the neocortex on those cultured slices.
