Here, I am a part of the Build a Cell Team, where I will be studying the manipulation of bacterial chromosomes by conjugative assembly genome engineering (CAGE). I hope to contribute to the current understanding bacterial conjugation mechanisms and increase the accessibility of synthetic biology techniques. | ||
I am also involved with the Stanford School of Medicine by conducting research in the Emergency Department focusing on social determinants of health, as well as helping vulnerable patient populations receive access to community resources which could improve their health. | |||

I am an REU Summer '17 intern at the Endy Lab in Stanford University.
