I work in the [[Your Lab]] at XYZ University.  I learned about [[OpenWetWare]] from Browsing MIT website, and I've joined because Participate in MIT life science community as a new PhD student in Microbiology.
I am a second year graduate student in the Alm Lab.  I'm currently studying the relative information content of metagenomic versus marker genes (16s rRNA) as predictors of environmental features.  Another exciting project I've been working on is analysis of horizontal gene transfer in the human microbiome.
