I work in the [[Your Lab]] at XYZ University. I learned about [[OpenWetWare]] from word of mouth, and I've joined because As a way of sharing my lab's data and new information on line. And to better learn from the community in an effort to make our science better.
I am an assistant professor of chemistry at American University. My group's research page can be found here. I have two research projects. The first involves re-engineering hemoglobin and myoglobin into [[Hartings_AU_Photosynthesis_Lab|artificial photosynthetic proteins]]. The [[Hartings_AU_Phosphorylation_Lab | second project]] aims to disrupt cell signaling pathways with the ruhenated-ATP analogues we are making in lab. I am also coordinating a student run laboratory course/research project - [[AU Biomaterials Design Lab]] - that is utilizing Open WetWare's interface to keep lab notebooks and organize data and protocols.

Matt Hartings

I am an assistant professor of chemistry at American University. My group's research page can be found here. I have two research projects. The first involves re-engineering hemoglobin and myoglobin into artificial photosynthetic proteins. The second project aims to disrupt cell signaling pathways with the ruhenated-ATP analogues we are making in lab.
