Objective

Prepping for K31C expression tomorrow.

Description

I talked with Kara Bren on Friday. She told me that BL21 (DE3) should produce heme on its own. So, I'm going to attempt expression without adding hemin.

(8am) I autoclaved 2x1L and 2x25ml of LB.

(10:30am) I autoclaved 2x1L and 2x25ml of LB.

(11:30) I prepared 4mL of 100 mg/mL ampicilin in water.
