  • 100:1 0.5mM Au:Myoglobin nanofibers alone<br.>
  • <br.>
  • 100:1 0.5mM Au:Myoglobin nanofibers on 1 tall scaffold<br.>
  • <br.>
  • 100:1 0.5mM Au:Myoglobin nanofibers on 4 tall scaffolds<br.>
  • <br.>
  • 100:1 0.5mM Au:Myoglobin nanofibers on 1 short scaffold<br.>
  • <br.>

Procedure

  • Today we tested how well the nanofibers would stay on the scaffolds by:
  1. Scaffold in PBS buffer
  2. Scaffold in ethanol
  3. Scaffold in water at 35C for 30min
  4. Scaffold in water and sonicate for 30min
  5. Scaffold in 0.1M HCl solution
  6. Scaffold in water

  • 100:1 0.5mM Au:Myoglobin nanofiber coated scaffold, sonicated 30minutes<br.>
  • <br.>
  • 100:1 0.5mM Au:Myoglobin nanofiber coated scaffold, heated at 35C for 30minutes<br.>
  • <br.>
