Entry title

  • DSC of CNC-NH4+in ABS made on 5/20/2014
  • 1% p&l- 50.62 mg s- 2.90 mg
  • 5% p&l- 50.35 mg s- 2.95 mg
  • 10% p&l- 50.92 mg s- 2.86 mg
  • 20% p&l- 50.80 mg s- 3.03 mg
  • Made casting of modified CNC in ABS w/ acetone
  • 1 % - 0.0096 g CNC , 0.9916 g ABS, 10 mL acetone
  • 5 % - 0.0513 g CNC , 0.9518 g ABS, 10 mL acetone
  • 10 % - 0.1005 g CNC , 0.8991 g ABS, 10 mL acetone
  • 20 % - 0.0422 g CNC , 0.1552 g ABS, 10 mL acetone
    • note- there was not enough CNC to make a 1 g sample of the 20%. The total weight of the 20 % sample was 0.20g

Notes

  • Dr. Fox said the casting looked good and to try a modified CNC in ABS the same way using acetone. The modified one is Me3Im-CNC
