Entry title

  • IMade two sets of molds. One from nanofibers from last semester and the other being Au NP citrate.
  • For the nanofiber first the solution was centrifuged:
    • 0.1% 0.993 g PLA, 10 mL of dichloromethane, approx. 1 drop of the nanofibers.
    • 0.5% 0.9949 g PLA, 10 mL of dichloromethane, approx. 1 drop of the nanofibers.
    • 1.0% 0.9899 g PLA, 10 mL of dichloromethane, approx. 1 drop of the nanofibers.
    • 5.0% 0.9488 g PLA, 10 mL of dichloromethane, approx. 1 drop of the nanofibers.
    • 10% 0.9011 g PLA, 10 mL of dichloromethane, approx. 1 drop of the nanofibers.
    • 0 % 0.9992 g PLA, 10 mL of dichloromethane, approx. 1 drop of the nanofibers.
  • The precent of the nanofibers were not right, but it was used more for labeling purposes
  • For the citrate:
    • 0.1% 0.999 g PLA, 10 mL of dichloromethane, 1 mL of citrate soln.
    • 0.5% 0.9948 g PLA, 10 mL of dichloromethane, approx. 0.8 mL of citrate
    • 1.0% 0.9894 g PLA, 10 mL of dichloromethane, approx. 0.6 mL of citrate
    • 5.0% 0.9501 g PLA, 10 mL of dichloromethane, approx. 0.4 mL of citrate
    • 10% 0.9007 g PLA, 10 mL of dichloromethane, approx. 0.2 mL of citrate

Note

The nanorfiber 0% i put into a X ray plate by adding a few drops on top.

  • The oven did not work again to flatten out the 5% MOF-5. There was a plastci thing that sat on top.
