ObjectivePerform FTIR and DSC on the film samples that were soaked in MG solutions. DescriptionI was sick today, so what was done can be found in Tami's notebook. DataFigure 1. Shows the weights of the pans, lids and films used for DSC
NotesI was sick today and unable to make it to lab. My lab partners, Tami and Andrew, performed the FTIR and DSC in my absence. Although I was absent, I have created charts of the FTIR data gathered by my lab partners. The first image below shows the FTIR data for the polymer-only samples that were soaked in MG solutions. The second image is a close-up view of the region of the FTIR graph that presented the most separation between sample readings.
