Objective

To test the effects of microwave-assisted base hydrolysis to determine the concentration of free BSA in solution.

Description

  1. Add 40 μL of BSA or AuNP solution (synthesized on 02/15/12)to 40 μL 4 M NaOH.
  2. Add 2μL 450 mM DTT.
  3. Heat in microwave for 1 min.
  4. Take UV-vis data.
