Objective

UV-Vis and Fluorescence studies on the dye, 5-DTFA yellow dye.

Description

The width of the dye was measured to be 0.2 mm. Using the UV-Vis instrument, the excitation wavelengths were determined to be 480 nm and 320 nm respectively.

Fluorescence studies was conducted and the following observations were made:

  • The excitation wavelength was 480 nm
  • The excitation wavelength range was [500nm-700nm]
  • The second excitation wavelength was 320 nm
  • The second excitation wavelength range was [320nm-700nm]
