Dr. Markus Schmidt
IDC - International Dialogue and Conflict Management/Biosafety Working Group
Based in Vienna, Austria, right in the center of Europe.
I am working in the field of biosafety and bioresources. Among others my research interests include plant genetic resources, complexity in genome science, risk assessment of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), biosafety, risk perception, risk communication, and technology assessment (TA) of novel bio- and nanotechnologies, including synthetic biology.
