Play w/ High Level

2020(S10)_Lecture:week_7#Week_7_Studio

  • Predator - prey relationship between algae and bacteria?

No, not necessary. May be expensive to recover from crash.

Ideas:

  • codependency of algae and bacteria
  • fuel quantity feedback? for population control (quorom sensing)
    • Possibility of crash though
  • Use anaerobic only bacteria for output?
  • versus Nutrient recycling bacteria (field of metabolic engineering)
  • secrete the oil or output? (put in vesicle, should be technically feasible)

Key Ideas

  • Self-contained cycle:
    • Input energy from sunlight. Output: harvesting output may disturb "self-contained nature
  • contamination resistance
