Have you taken

7.05/5.07 (Biochemistry) - no, will take in 2007S
7.06 (Cell Biology) - no, will take later
7.02 (General Biology Lab) - no
5.310 (General Chemistry Lab) - no

Do you have any experience culturing cells (mammalian, yeast or microbial)? No

Do you have any experience in molecular biology (electrophoresis, PCR, etc)? Yes

Please briefly describe any previous laboratory experience

I've done research in Belcher labs with modifying M13 phage (specifically p3 and p9), trying to express a protein using yeast (genetically engineered, binds to sapphire). Currently I am working on trying to find the best solid polymer electrolyte for an electrochromic device.

Anything else you would like us to know?

I worked in the past with quantum dot excitation but it was a really boring internship and I didn't learn much.
