Objective

Description

166:1 Gold:BSA ratio

A) 1mL (17.7µM BSA), 2.34mL (2.9mM Au), and 6.66mL Water, + 0.0166g NaCl (equals 0.0284M) in a hot water bath at constant temp 80 degrees. B) 1mL (17.7µM BSA), 2.34mL (2.9mM Au), and 6.66mL Water (no salt) in a hot water bath at constant temp 80 degrees.

Goal: testing how salt affects fiber aggregation and especially contraction from fibers throughout the test tube to fibers clumped at the top.
