The graph above contains absorbance data from our Arginine pH 5 solution. In comparison to the pH 4, 6, and 7 solutions, the pH 5 solution saw nearly double the absorbance experienced. There was also a relative curve that appeared to peak at around 580 nm.

The graph above contains the absorbance data from our cysteine pH 5 solution. The dilution series of the solution was integrated into the graph as well. In comparison to the pH 4 and 7 solutions, the pH 5 solution had markedly larger absorbance in the area of 380 nm. While it did perform better in the range of absorbance than the other two solutions, it was still significantly short of the pH 6 solution. The dilution series reveals shoulders that were previously observed in the pH 6 solution.
The graph above contains absorbance data from our glutamine pH 5 solution. The soltuion had better absorbance than the pH 4 and 7 solutions, but was still not as effective as the pH 6 solution. The pH 5 solution did appear to have a more clear and isolated peak in the range of 530 nm in comparison to what we had previously seen in the pH 6 solution.
