Entry titleObservationsCapped and non-capped Arg solutions formed nanoparticles. The capped Arg solution did not show up significantly in the UVVis experiments, as it stained the test tube. The solutions were both purple in the test tubes. The Arg-Cys solutions formed white precipitate, there does not appear to be a significant difference between the two just by looking at them. The capped Arg solutions of pH 8 and pH 10 look nearly identical. To describe them I would say they look exactly like water-downed apple cider.
